Crispy Wafers. A creamy cake that is quick to prepare and very delicious.

Recipe for a Delicious Creamy and Crunchy Cake:

This cake is quick to prepare, easy to chill, and very delicious. The wafers are crispy and remain crunchy for several days after preparation, while the filling stays wonderfully creamy without drying out.

It’s also quite economical and yields a large amount of cake.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of wafers
  • 1 cup of milk (270 g)
  • 1 cup of oil (230 g)
  • 1 cup of walnuts (100 g)
  • 1.5 cups of milk powder (200 g)
  • 1.5 cups of flour (220 g)
  • 2 cups of sugar (400 g)
  • 5 tablespoons of cocoa powder (40 g), or more to taste

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Milk Mixture: Start by heating 1 cup of milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the sugar and stir until it dissolves completely.

2. Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine the milk powder, flour, and cocoa powder. Mix thoroughly to ensure there are no lumps.

3. Combine Wet Ingredients: Slowly add the dry mixture into the milk and sugar mixture. Stir constantly to avoid clumps. Cook the mixture over low heat, stirring occasionally until it thickens into a creamy consistency.

4. Add Walnuts and Oil: Once the mixture has thickened, add the oil and chopped walnuts. Stir well until everything is evenly combined.

5. Cool the Filling: Remove the mixture from the heat and let it cool down to room temperature. As it cools, it will firm up a bit, but still maintain a creamy texture.

6. Layer the Cake: Lay a sheet of wafers on a flat surface or plate. Spread a generous layer of the creamy filling over the wafers. Top with another layer of wafers and repeat this process, creating multiple layers of wafers and cream.

7. Chill and Set: Once all the layers are assembled, place the cake in the refrigerator for a few hours to allow it to set and chill.

8. Serve and Enjoy: Once chilled, cut the cake into squares or rectangles and serve. The wafers will stay crunchy while the filling remains creamy, making this cake a delightful treat.

Tips:

  • You can adjust the amount of cocoa powder based on how rich and chocolatey you prefer your filling.
  • The walnuts add a lovely crunch and flavor, but you can substitute them with other nuts or omit them if you prefer.
  • The cake will taste even better the next day, as the layers have time to meld together.

Enjoy your crispy and creamy cake that’s perfect for any occasion!
