How to Keep Fresh Strawberries Fresh for 2 Years
To make strawberries last longer, place 2 kg of strawberries in bowls filled with water for 5-10 minutes, clean them, and remove the stems. Then, fill jars with the strawberries and add 2 tablespoons of sugar to each jar. Afterward, fill the jars with boiling water and seal them with the lid. Next, cook the jars in a pot with water up to half its height for about 15 minutes. Once cooked, remove the jars from the pot and seal them tightly. Place the jars upside down on a surface covered with a cloth and check the next day to make sure no air has entered the jars. Finally, store the jars upside down in a cool, dark place to keep them intact for up to 2 years.
